Chattanooga Ducks FAQ

What are your tour times?

Answer: We are open 7 days a week during the season. Tour times change by season. Our standard tour times are 10, 12, 2, 4, and 6 pm everyday during the summer months. Less often in the spring and fall. Times are subject to change daily. Call 423-756-3825 the day you want to ride to get the current tour times for that day.

Do you take reservations and can we buy tickets in advance or online?

Answer:  We take advance reservations for groups of 15 or more only.  We take individual reservations on a same day basis.  Call the day you want to ride after 9 am and reserve your seats.  We do not sell tickets in advance or online, only at the ticket booth.

Are the Ducks handicapped accessible?

Answer:  There are seven steps to climb to board the Duck. They will not accommodate a wheelchair.
We have staff available to assist anyone who needs help boarding or has difficulties with steps.

How long is the trip?

Answer:  A duck ride is never less than an hour.  It can be as long as 1 hour and 20 minutes.

What if it rains?

Answer: There are no refunds once the Duck reaches the river.  If a trip is interrupted for any reason after that you may receive a rain check good for one year from that date.

Is there parking?

Answer: We have no free parking at our location. There is plenty of paid parking all around us.  The street meters are free after 4:30 pm and on the weekends.

Can you take infants?

Answer:  Yes, infants do very well, in fact because of the noise and vibration they usually fall asleep, otherwise they have a great time. The price is $1.00.

Can you take pets?

Answer:   Yes, we will take pets as long as they are well behaved and the owners take full responsibility for them.

What about the elderly?

Answer:  They love it.  We have taken many centenarians!
